Life so far.

As I am new to the blogging world, I am just going to dive in head first....
As of yesterday, I am 35 weeks pregnant with my first babe. So for I have been blessed to have had a joyful and easy journey so far, with the help of my amazingly supportive husband, Ryan. He is always reminding me to drink water, bring snacks with me, and even rolling me over on my side in the middle of the night! What a guy! Having a circle of strong womyn and mamas in my life has certainly helped a lot, as well as having 2 incredible midwifes, dedicated to the healthy and loving birth of our child.
We are planning a homebirth, if all goes well. And after readying Ina Mays Guide to Childbirth, I feel very exited and empowered to join in the collective strength of all the womyn who have walked this path before me.
                                                                        Got married....
Moved to Nelson to attend Art school.......
Moved into the woods....
Got pregnant.....

                                                                     Bought a house.....
NOW, as I await the arrival of our little on, I have been trying my best to stay busy and prepare myself for the life changing event that is about to occur. But life is all about balance right? In the midst of baking apple pies and doing laundry, there has to be a little bit of down time. Who knows when I will get THAT opportunity again. But after all, energy creates energy, and I feel at my strongest and most empowered when my day is full.
